This 5-day private Sahara adventure from Marrakech is designed for travelers who want to experience Morocco at their own pace. Discover ancient kasbahs, dramatic gorges and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, with two unforgettable nights in the desert, a camel trek at sunset and an exciting quad bike experience.

The journey to the Sahara

We pick you up from your riad in Marrakech and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Stop along the way to enjoy the mountain scenery before continuing to Ait Benhaddou, the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring the ancient ksar, we continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses towards the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley.

On day two, discover the impressive Todra Gorge and continue through Tinghir, Tinjdad and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Two nights in the Sahara

Once you arrive in Merzouga, enjoy an exciting quad bike adventure across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Later, ride camels into the desert as the sun begins to set, arriving at your desert camp surrounded by spectacular dunes.

Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, relax around the camp and spend your first night beneath the stars. The following day is dedicated to experiencing the Sahara at a relaxed pace, with time to enjoy the dunes, sandboarding and the unique atmosphere of the desert.

A full day in Merzouga

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before breakfast. You can then explore the desert surroundings, visit Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnawa music, discover the local landscapes or simply relax at the camp.

In the afternoon, return to the dunes for another unforgettable desert experience and enjoy your second night in the Sahara camp.

The road back to Marrakech

After enjoying a final sunrise in the Sahara, we begin our direct journey back to Marrakech. Travel through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, passing traditional villages, mountain scenery and the spectacular routes of the Moroccan interior.

Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in the Red City.

Discover Marrakech

On the final morning, enjoy a guided visit of Marrakech and discover the atmosphere of the historic Medina, colorful souks and famous Jemaa el-Fna Square. After your city experience, we arrange your transfer to Marrakech airport, marking the end of your Sahara adventure.

Pick-up from your Marrakech riad and a scenic crossing of the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, then continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Valley of Roses before reaching Boumalne Dades. Dinner and overnight in the Dades Valley.

After breakfast, explore the spectacular Todra Gorge and continue through Tinghir, Tinjdad and Erfoud towards Merzouga. In the afternoon, enjoy a quad bike adventure across the Erg Chebbi dunes before your camel trek at sunset. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp.

Day 3

A full day in the Sahara

Wake up to sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy a relaxed breakfast. Spend the day discovering the Merzouga desert and its surroundings, with options such as a visit to Khamlia, sandboarding or simply relaxing at camp. Enjoy another unforgettable evening in the Sahara and your second night at the desert camp.

Merzouga – Marrakech

After breakfast, begin the direct journey from Merzouga back to Marrakech. Enjoy the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, with stops along the way to stretch your legs and take photos. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and overnight in the city.

Towering rock walls rise up to 300 meters, creating a paradise for climbers and nature lovers. The river flowing through the canyon brings life to the palm groves and traditional Berber villages, making it one of the most stunning landscapes in southern Morocco. We stop for lunch in Tinghir, then continue towards the Sahara Desert.
