Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Benhaddou

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech, crossing the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. You will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a famous fortified village featured in Hollywood movies. After lunch, you will travel through Ouarzazate and the Valley of the Roses before arriving at the stunning Dades Gorge.Overnight: Dades Valley hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes)

After breakfast, drive through the majestic Todra Gorge, walking beneath its towering 300-meter-high rock walls. The journey then takes you deeper into the desert landscape through Erfoud and Rissani. In the late afternoon, you will reach the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, where you will ride camels into the sunset to reach a traditional luxury desert camp.Overnight: Saharan desert camp under the stars.

Day 3: Immersive Desert Experience in Merzouga

Dedicate this full day to discovering the secrets of the Sahara. You will explore the surrounding dunes in a 4x4 vehicle, visit the nomadic families to learn about their lifestyle, and enjoy traditional Gnawa music in Khamlia village. In the evening, relax at the camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and listen to Berber drumming around the campfire.Overnight: Saharan desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga back to Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, start the long but scenic journey back to Marrakech. You will travel through the Draa Valley, thousands of palm groves, and the Anti-Atlas Mountains, arriving back in Marrakech by late evening.
