7 Days Luxury Morocco Desert Trip

This 7-day private trip is for travellers who want the Sahara with comfort and space: shorter driving days, carefully chosen boutique kasbahs and riads, and two nights in a luxury desert camp with en-suite tents. It suits couples, friends and families who value quiet, good food and flexibility.

Comfort at every stop

We collect you from your riad in Marrakech in a recent, air-conditioned private vehicle and cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass at an unhurried pace. Instead of rushing past, we take the side road to the Kasbah of Telouet, the former seat of the Glaoui family, before arriving in Ait Benhaddou, where you stay in a kasbah hotel with views of the ksar. Day two continues through Ouarzazate, the Skoura palm grove and the Rose Valley to a boutique hotel in the Dades Valley.

Two nights in a luxury desert camp

After a morning walk in the Todra Gorge, we arrive in Merzouga in time for a sunset camel ride to our luxury camp in Erg Chebbi. Your tent has a proper double or twin bed, a private bathroom with hot shower and a terrace facing the dunes. Dinners are served at candlelit tables, and we are happy to set up a private table on the sand. Staying two nights means your middle day is completely yours: a 4x4 tour to Khamlia and a nomad family, sandboarding, a quad ride, or simply reading in the shade.

The southern route back

On day five we leave the dunes for Alnif, N'Kob and the Draa Valley, one of the longest palm groves in Morocco, and spend the night in a restored kasbah near Agdz. Day six crosses back over the High Atlas to Marrakech, where your final night is in a riad in the medina.

A private guide in Marrakech

On the last morning, a licensed guide shows you the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef area and the souks before your departure.
